How does it work?
First step:
Book a free introductory session with me to talk about your goals, challenges and what you would like from coaching. We can then decide if we are a great match and take it from there.
The coaching process:
We start with a discussion to clarify what you want to achieve; health, work, fitness, relationships, lifestyle etc. and where you are now; what degree of motivation do you have towards your desired future self and how appropriate are your current lifestyle patterns and habits for your desired ‘you’ of the future.
Coaching will focus on what you want, not others. It will help you break away from your limiting beliefs and behaviours and help you think in a way that leads you to make the changes you need.
Once you have a clear image in your mind of what your life can look like and have an understanding what’s important to you, we are likely to know what will ignite your progress towards it. Everyone’s journey is unique to reaching their goals.
Goals are great but if you don't have a systematic approach to achieving them, you're likely to fail. Through coaching we will develop this methodical way of approach by identifying the most efficient means to generate consistent progress towards your goals. Your collection of daily ways and habits is your systematic approach which will get you there and it needs to be in place before you progress. The focus will be on developing consistent good habits for the long term results you want.
Coaching will make the most of your good identity based habits and reduce the impact of your less effective ones. The aim is to focus first on those that generate the quickest reward, keeping them simple, enjoyable and that work best for you (who, where, what, when, how). This may include nutrition, daily activities, exercise, time/social management to name a few.
My role is to support you sticking to these habits, continuously improving them, overcoming setbacks and provide resources and frameworks for help you. Patience and doing what you can sustain is vital, your habits are the building blocks of your life, shaping experiences and determining the outcomes of our efforts to change.
I also manage a Facebook Community, Reset, Renew and ReEnergise, for like-minded women in search of a sustained healthy lifestyle. The group is a place to ask questions, share tips and successes, links, other groups, local meet-ups, fun activities to get involved in and update members on new research. This social group not only helps for the duration of the coaching but is a community for continued support.
